About Reece
Hello! My name is Reece, and I’m an English tutor from South Africa. I hold a Bachelor of Arts in English and Psychology, a Level 5 TEFL certificate, and I am currently completing my PGCE in the FET Phase. I have experience teaching learners from ages 6 to 18 through private tutoring, school placements, and early TEFL teaching with young learners. As a tutor, I believe in creating a calm, supportive environment where students can build confidence and enjoy the learning process. I explain concepts in simple, clear ways and guide students step-by-step so they feel comfortable and motivated. Whether you want to improve speaking, reading, writing, grammar, or school performance, I will tailor each lesson to your goals. I am committed to professionalism, patience, and effective teaching. I look forward to helping you grow your English skills and feel confident in every lesson.

My approach to private tutoring is clear, structured, and student-focused. I teach in English and adapt my lessons to each learner’s level, goals, and learning style. I enjoy breaking down concepts in simple ways and helping students build confidence through guided practice, repetition, and real-life examples.
A typical lesson with me includes warm-up speaking, targeted vocabulary or grammar practice, and clear feedback to help you improve quickly. I also use supportive correction methods so students stay motivated and comfortable.
My lessons are ideal for learners from complete beginners to high-school level students. I have experience teaching ages 6 to 18, including English literacy, reading, writing, speaking, exam preparation, and school support. I aim to make every class engaging, encouraging, and tailored to your personal progress.
