About Myrto
I am a qualified Primary School Teacher with a PGCE in Primary Education from UCL (2024) and a strong background in Art, Design and Textiles. Before moving into teaching, I gained valuable industry experience as a fashion and textiles designer, working with renowned couture houses and luxury brands such as Miu Miu, Suzie Turner London, Peter Pilotto and Sibling London. My specialist training in hand embroidery, embellishment, knitwear, and print design gives me a unique creative edge that I love to share with my students. In school, I teach across the primary curriculum and have experience supporting SEN students with a nurturing, tailored approach. Beyond the classroom, I am passionate about encouraging children and adults alike to explore their creativity through art and design in ways that build confidence, imagination, and practical skills.

What I Offer My Students: Fun, engaging and personalised art lessons suitable for children and adults. Guidance in a wide range of techniques: drawing, painting, textiles, embroidery, print design, craft-making and mixed media. A supportive and encouraging environment that allows creativity to flourish. The ability to link professional fashion and design insights with accessible, hands-on projects. Help with school art projects, portfolio preparation, or simply developing a love for creativity outside school hours. I currently offer tutoring in the evenings and weekends, perfect for families looking for after-school creative enrichment or adults wanting to develop their artistic skills. Above all, I am a patient, positive and enthusiastic teacher who believes that everyone has an artistic side – it just needs the right encouragement to shine.
