Grace helped me achieve an A in Chinese in just 1/3 of the usual GCSE course duration, with 0 prior knowledge.
Her exceptional planning, detailed notes on each student, tailored lesson structures, and an overall thoughtfully curated learning plan (extending even beyond lessons with personalised homework), made every session incredibly effective.

I'd also like to highlight the fact she would often extend the lesson by 30-40 minutes to ensure I fully understood each concept, even teaching despite illness and covid! Her dedication and passion for teaching is real, I cannot recommend Grace highly enough!

Grace excels at explaining Mandarin concepts with patience and clarity, all while infusing humour into her teaching. I felt completely comfortable asking her questions throughout the lessons, which I believe was key to helping me fully engage with the Chinese language and understand its nuances. Grace's deep knowledge of the language, including regional slang from different Chinese-speaking countries, and historical background of each character and symbol, only deepened my respect for her.
