About Tom
Having completed a BTEC in computer science and a foundation degree in computing management I have had 8 years experience with the IT industry, providing IT support for a number of large companies and organisations.
Previously I have worked for local government authorities, various NHS trusts, schools and universities and large private companies including a world leader in car sales and one of the UK’s largest insurance companies.
I have now recently decided to become self employed, opening my own business ‘Tom’s Computer School & Repairs’, where I provide IT training to people of all skill levels and covering a wide range of subjects. As well as IT training my business also does computer and mobile phone repairs.

My lessons are suitable for everyone no matter what computer skills you have, whether you’ve been using computer for a while and your looking to develop or learn a new skill, or if you’ve never used a computer before and your wanting to learn some of the basics, each lesson is tailored around you and what you want to learn.
Booking a lesson through me doesn’t commit you to booking a series of lessons, you have the choice of how many lessons you’d like to book, how long you like the lesson to be and how often you’d like recurring lessons to take place
