About Darcy
Hi! Here are a few quick facts about me: I’m a recent graduate from Brisbane Girls Grammar School, I received an ATAR of 70.20, I’m currently perusing the Bachelor of Education (Primary) at QUT and I also have previous non-professional tutoring experience for both primary and secondary students!
For example...
- I was a member of the Brisbane Central State School Homework Club (BCSSHC) where I read to EAL/D students and helped them to read on their own as well
- I volunteered at the Paddington “Hands on Art” where I helped kids create whatever they wanted using recyclable materials,
- I was also a member of my high school’s “Study Buddy” program where I assisted students whenever they needed help, particularly with English and History,
- I have also annotated and edited assignments (free-of-charge) for students on ATAR Notes!

Hey there, I’m Darcy! I recently just graduated high school and I received an overall ATAR of 70.20. Rather than forcing my students to learn a certain way, I respect and acknowledge every students’ individual needs and encourage them to learn, how they learn. I’m also extremely passionate about about making education more accessible, so I would be more than happy to provide extra follow-up sessions (free-of-charge) as well as learning resources (e.g. homemade worksheets), if needed :)
