About Melisa
Music remains my primary language after 13 years of dedicated instruction in my Nashville studio. Honestly, I find that navigating the complexities of the RCM syllabus is where I find my greatest clarity as a mentor. Having guided 60 plus students from Prep A through ARCT, I focus on building rock-solid hand independence and posture for learners aged 6 to adult.

Piano practice often feels like a solitary struggle, but I ensure our time together feels like a collaborative conversation. Honestly, I prioritize ear training and dynamic expression as much as the notes on the page.
We will work through 60 minute intervals that adjust to your current pace and style. My 13 years of teaching allows me to spot minor posture issues before they become bad habits.
