About
I have a degree in French and a PGCE teaching qualification, with lots of experience of designing and delivering business training courses and academic teaching. I lived and studied in France (Rennes), and as well as choosing to spend most of my holidays in France, I have also lived in French-speaking Switzerland too, meaning I have first-hand experience of the language and rich culture. Now back in the UK, I have been teaching French to adults and children for about ten years, and I love it! I have numerous loyal students whom I have helped to develop their confidence and skills in speaking and writing in French.

I currently run two lessons a week suitable for adults, intermediate to advanced level students (so B1, B2, to C1). Skircoat Green, Halifax Tuesday early afternoons, and Thursday lunchtimes in Hebden Bridge. We cover a wide range of practical French through thematic structured lessons including vocabulary, grammar, cultural learning and lots of conversation & opportunities for discussion. Handouts are provided where appropriate and there is usually optional homework to allow students to embed their new skills. Group sizes are small to allow everyone a chance to speak, and to listen. Rebecca conducts a french course for intermediate to advanced adult students ,the focus is on spoken french ,As a group everyone gets to speak,express their views on adult themes ,french cinema , literature,culture etc learning french in a fun friendly atmosphere definitely recommend if you have at least some french to start off . Rebecca is very professional and the lessons are well prepared ,the focus is spoken french !!!which really suits me
Rebecca is a genuinely fantastic french tutor who has a depth of knowledge and experience to enable a positive learning experience. She teaches with passion, a friendly demeanour, can adapt a lesson effortlessly and I can honestly say she has helped me to become more confident when speaking in French. Rebecca has been teaching myself and my husband french for a good while now. She is a very friendly, knowledgeable lady who tailors the classes to our needs. Lessons are always thoroughly prepared but she is also flexible when necessary.

Details
My adult classes are for an hour and a half, in small groups of up to about five students. These are £20 per student. This includes my lesson planning and any handouts. Or you can buy a block of lessons in advance and they work out at £15 each.
