About Theresa
I am a recent college graduate with a BA in Cognitive Developmental Psychology. I have three years' experience in tutoring in various subjects including adult and child development, general psychology, Hebrew, and more. Each of the students that I tutored saw improvement by at least two letter grades within a month of tutoring. I also homeschooled my younger siblings during my high school experience for 4 years, teaching from grades K-5. I also worked with 4 international students at my college for two years, helping them to improve their English skills and to become smoothly acclimated to the United States, to the English language, and to our college community. I received multiple letters of thanks from those four students, for helping them and for making them feel welcome. I have also achieved membership in four national honorary societies and Dean's List placement for 6 consecutive semesters. I've learned through these experiences that teaching and learning are intricately interconnected and that a good learning experience is immeasurably important.
