About Khaleel
I'm a recent Computer Science graduate from The College of Wooster, where I was selected as a Posse Foundation Full-Tuition Leadership Merit Scholar for academic achievement and leadership. As a Residential Assistant, I regularly supported and mentored students working through challenges, and as a campus leader, I've spent years communicating clearly and patiently with people from different backgrounds and skill levels. I bring that same patience and reliability to tutoring: I show up prepared, explain concepts clearly, and adjust my approach based on what actually helps a specific student learn, not a one-size-fits-all method.

My approach to teaching math is built around problem-solving, not memorization. As a Computer Science graduate, I spent years applying algebra, precalculus, and calculus to real technical problems, so I focus on helping students understand why a method works, not just how to execute it. A typical lesson starts with identifying exactly where a concept is breaking down, then working through problems step by step until that gap closes, followed by practice problems that build confidence before moving forward. What sets me apart is patience and a genuine ability to explain the same concept multiple ways until it clicks, since not every student learns the same way. My lessons are best suited for high school and college students working through Algebra, Precalculus, Calculus, or general STEM coursework, especially those preparing for college-level math or looking to strengthen their foundation before a tough course.
