I had the opportunity to work with Lisa during my 2nd year in nursing school. Although a difficult transition year, especially because of COVID, Lisa was able make the process much more easy to navigate and fun to learn. Lisa is approachable, understanding, and is able to meet learners where they are at, knowing her students so well she is able to push students to believe in themselves! As a student I was exposed to both hands on learning was provided resources such as articles and videos to support my learning, Lisa was able to answer my questions and was able to find answers when she didn’t have them at the tip of her tongue (which was rare). Any student that has the opportunity to work with Lisa will flourish.
