About Tracie
I am a retired teacher with over 20 years of classroom experience. I am a parent of two children. I love to learn new things and to find ways to share that learning. I have taught Early Childhood through adults. I have taught academics and technology. My passion is with Elementary education, and providing a firm foundation for future learning.

Due to the changes in our world, I have gravitated to remote learning. As a Girl Scout troop leader, we have been using this method for our meetings since March, and I have found many ways to make it engaging and practical. Before I can begin tutoring your child, I will need to know what they have mastery of, and what areas they need support. This is best done through a partnership with you. I try to format lessons around the students interests and style of learning. But in general, each lesson begins with a quick review of current skills, Introduction of new skills, Guided practice of new skills, and opportunity to practice those skills independently,
