About Elma
I have been teaching for 30 years in the intermediate phase, all subjects. Was selected to be a lead teacher for Life Skills and Afrikaans but I chose Life Skills. After retirement I was on a contract basis at different schools.My last contract was for a year and a half at Silverstream School of Skills in Manenburg Cape Town.

My teaching methods are direct as well as interactive to involve students in the learning process. my classes I base on workshops I attended to improve my skills of teaching and I approach each topic from the known to the unknown. I make use of the internet and links where students can go to, to enhance and further their knowledge.
