About Riaz
Hi! I’m Riaz, an IB student who achieved amazing grades across all my IGCSEs. I’ve always enjoyed helping my classmates understand difficult topics, explaining ideas clearly, finding simple ways to approach problems, and seeing that moment when everything suddenly makes sense. That’s why I started tutoring: to make learning less stressful and more meaningful. I remember what it’s like to feel overwhelmed before exams, so I design my lessons to be clear, encouraging, and focused on understanding rather than memorisation. My goal is to help students build confidence in themselves as much as in their subjects. I love teaching because it’s incredibly rewarding to see progress, whether it’s someone finally mastering a tricky topic or achieving a grade they didn’t think was possible. Every student learns differently, and I take pride in adapting my approach to fit their needs, so they can reach their full potential while actually enjoying the process.

I believe that every student learns differently, and my role as a tutor is to adapt to each individual’s needs rather than force a single method on everyone. My lessons are designed to be interactive, supportive, and built around the student’s personal learning style, whether that means breaking down complex ideas with visuals, practising with past papers, or using simple analogies to make difficult topics click. I focus on building understanding and confidence, not just memorisation. When students truly understand why something works, they can apply their knowledge to any question, in any exam. I encourage questions, reward curiosity, and make sure every session ends with the student feeling more capable and confident than when they started.
