• Tell us more about your subject. How did you develop an interest in this field?

  I've been playing the guitar from when I was 12 years old but I guess music was always a part of my life. I get a real kick out of it when things don't go according to as they are supposed to and that feeling is really something that I enjoy.

• What or who is the motivation behind you choosing to teach & why?

  I wanna teach music to empower people, to let them find their own way to express things that can't really be spoken or written down, and also to help myself find the way as I help them so that we can search for it together.

• If you had to think of a role model for your work, who do you think of & why?

  There are way too many role models, I can't fit it into one list, from hard rock bands to jazz conductors I've followed so many people through these year and depending on what I'm listening to or playing is very much closely related to the artists that I am following at the moment.
  Kurt Cobain, Steve Vai, John Mayer, Jacob Collier, Ravi Shankar, AR Rahman are some of the names that are always constant on my playlist to name a few.

• Tell us about your hobbies outside teaching.

  Perseverance. If I have to sum it up in one word, the persistence in doing something despite difficulty or delay in achieving success. That's what drives you, it keeps you alive. If you want to so badly you will get it no matter what.

• Do you have an anecdote to tell us about your student or professional life?

  Breathe. Think about what you HAVE achieved and what you HAVE done till now, it was you who did it. Now take a step back and start again.
  As Thomas Wayne asks his son "why do we fall?" It is so that we can pick ourselves up again. Believe that and overcome it.
