About Laima
My name is Laima.
I am a native Romanian speaker from the Republic of Moldova. I also speak Russian as my mother tongue. I have a Licence in Philology of Modern and Classical Languages. I have been working as an English and French teacher in a state lyceum for 12 years and also teach Romanian and Russian as second languages to foreign volunteers. I give private off- and on-line lessons to students of different ages and levels.

The process of teaching-learning a language is like a ”cuisine” and how good it is depends on the chef...
During our lessons I will teach you how ”to prepare different dishes” (this is how to communicate in different situations so that you and the other participants can feel good and comfortable). We will use various ingredients and spices, such as grammar rules and vocabulary, pronunciation and intonation, and I will provide you with the necessary ”kitchen tools”- the necessary techniques (my own materials) to help you with all that work.
I am here to encourage and help you do great things: speaking a new language, descovering new cultures and, of course, developing your personality. Are you ready?
