About Grace
I love acting. It is what gets me up in the morning. I do it because I find people fascinating, and I want to find out what makes my characters tick. I trained on the MA in Classical Acting at the RCSSD, graduating in 2022. Since then, I have performed both as an actor, and an actor-musician on stage, in documentaries, as fantasy characters in video games and in immersive theatre. I began teaching after I graduated, as I found getting into drama school a very daunting experience and wanted to offer support and a little more clarity to those wanting to follow this path.

It is often assumed that to be a good actor, you must have 'natural talent'. Being naturally good is a beautiful thing, but without a bit of learning and training, I believe it is hard to be really great. I teach acting using a variety of methods learnt through my own training, and from my work as a professional actor. I use Laban and Stanislavski, and have extensive knowledge of Shakespearean text work. For me, acting is about finding character, showing not telling and finding emotion from the inside out. Lessons are an hour long typically, but can be worked around your needs. I mainly teach drama school audition technique for ages 16+ but also enjoy teaching general acting if acting goals are more varied.
