About Elena
I am a foreign language tutor and an official entrepreneur. Russian is my native language. I also speak English, German, and Spanish. I have a Master's and a PhD degree in Applied Linguistics and Second Language Acquisition. I've been teaching foreign languages for about 8 years and I love my job. In my lessons, I use the communicative and the task-bases language teaching approaches which have proved to be useful in effective FL teaching. I love to speak with my students on different topics while enriching their vocabulary, and improving their pronunciation. I highly rely on task-based language teaching approach, which means that my students do various tasks related to various real-life situations, such as ordering food, giving advice, making an appointment, or writing an email to a friend.

When i was preparing for my c1 exams her advice was quite handy.Elena is a smart and experienced teacher. When she was doing her doctorate in Barcelona, she was teaching kids and adults. She uses diverse techniques and her method is based on a personal approach and attention to details.
Lena ist eine tolle Englisch Lehrerin bei der man sich wohl fühlt. Ihre Erklärungen sind klar und deutlich. Sie gibt sich immer viel Mühe um ihre Schüler und Schülerinnen alles deutlich und verständlich zu erklären. Man lernt immer viel bei ihren Aufgaben und prägt dich den Stoff gut ein. Lena ist sehr großzügig da sie, wenn man keine Zeit hatte die Aufgaben zu lösen, ein weiteren Termin erstellt.
