About Teddy
I performed at the 2024 Montreux Jazz Festival, on stage at Ronnie's and recently featured in a shoot for Amazon Music playing with Wasia Project on their cover of Sade's Smooth Operator. I have been playing saxophone for eighteen years studying at the Royal College of Music's Junior Department before progressing to the Guildhall School of Music and Drama. Whilst I decided not to pursue my undergraduate career at Guildhall, I play in a variety of settings such as jazz trios and big bands and am keen to help teach other keen musicians.

I base my teaching method on the enjoyment of the pupil. I prioritise the student's preference both in the repertoire studied and the practice amounts recommended, as the key to the student being successful is their enjoyment of the learning process.
