Though semi-retired I still have a passion for teaching, for broadening students’ horizons and developing opportunities for our future generations. Teaching drives me in all I do, from formal lessons to advising and counselling, proofreading students’ work and helping with research

I regularly hold online sessions in English language and literature, have my own YouTube channel for English language and can teach French and German - my degree subjects at Cambridge. I am based in the UK and Egypt and have had many international students from the Far East, Azeri, Jordan and Egypt.
