About Joan
Greetings! My name is Joan. I have been teaching English to students online since May, 2013 and it has been an amazing journey! I have been a school teacher for 27 years! I have a teaching degree from the State University of New York at Oneonta, in education. I have taught all subjects Pre-School through 12th grade. I have a very diverse background in education. Working with the children and families has truly been an enlightening and wonderful experience. I am thankful everyday for each and every student I work with. I adore what I do. When I am not teaching, I enjoy knitting, cooking, yoga, reading, swimming and spending time with my family. I have been married for 24 years and have an 18-year-old son who just graduated high school. I look forward to working with you and your child!
