About I CHIAO
I am from Taiwan originally. I am a daughter of a traditional East Asian family, a Ph.D. candidate, a flexitarian, a digital nomad, and a Chinese language instructor. I have a unique perspective because I was previously a participating teacher in the STARTALK program of Chinese instruction in the digital age, the Chinese dual immersion teacher of Utah, and I have an Irish husband who is learning Chinese.
