My rate is a set $16.00 per hour. If you prefer a web camera session, I reduce the cost to $14.00 an hour. I will travel 20 miles. This is why I do have a set gas rate as well. I will add a flat $7.00 to travel for gas; my car gets low mileage unfortunately, but this fee is not tacked on to each our. It is a flat fee. Although the first session is free, if I need to travel I will add the $7.00 flat fee. My cancellation policy states if the student cancels within 24 hours of our set time and date, the hourly fee of $16.00 plus the flat gas fee of $7.00 or $14.00 (webcam) must be paid according to how many hours were scheduled. This is in place because I have created a time slot for you and perhaps may travel for you. If a cancellation occurs, I could have seen another client in that set time frame.
