About T V Santosh

Hello, I am a PhD-trained Senior Scientist with more than 5 years of experience in biotechnology and pharmaceutical research industries, working across cancer biology, immunology, translational research, and drug discovery programs.

Over the years, I have worked in leading biotech and research organizations on projects involving cancer therapeutics, patient-derived organoids, experimental biology, drug screening platforms, and translational assay development. My experience combines both academic research and real-world industry applications, which helps students understand not only theoretical concepts but also how they are applied in modern biotech and pharmaceutical environments.

I enjoy teaching and mentoring students who are genuinely interested in life sciences, biotechnology, cancer biology, immunology, and research careers. My teaching style is interactive, concept-oriented, and tailored according to each student’s learning goals and background.

Apart from subject teaching, I also guide students in:

Research methodology
Scientific presentations
Thesis and dissertation discussions
Experimental design
Biotechnology career guidance
MSc/PhD interview preparation

I believe learning science should be engaging, practical, and connected to real research applications rather than only memorizing textbook content.

I look forward to helping students build strong scientific understanding and confidence in their academic or research journey.

My teaching approach is focused on making complex biological concepts easy to understand through practical examples, real industry applications, and interactive discussions rather than only textbook-based learning. I believe students learn better when they understand the scientific reasoning behind experiments, drug discovery strategies, and translational research workflows.

My classes are usually structured based on the student’s background and goals. I first assess the student’s current understanding of the subject, followed by concept explanation using diagrams, pathway discussions, case studies, and recent research examples. I also include discussion of experimental design, interpretation of scientific data, and problem-solving approaches commonly used in biotechnology and pharmaceutical research.

For research-oriented students, I provide guidance on:

Cancer biology and immunology
Drug discovery and translational research
Experimental design and assay development
Organoid and cell culture concepts
Scientific presentation and research communication
Thesis, dissertation, and interview preparation
Industry expectations and career guidance in biotech and pharma sectors

My special strength as a teacher comes from my combined academic and industry experience. As a Senior Scientist with a PhD and 5+ years of experience in leading biotech and pharmaceutical research environments, I focus on bridging the gap between theoretical knowledge and real-world applications used in modern drug discovery and translational biology programs.

Classes are intended for:

BSc and MSc Biotechnology/Life Science students
PhD scholars and research trainees
Students preparing for higher studies or interviews
Young researchers seeking industry-oriented mentoring
Professionals interested in cancer biology, immunology, and translational research
