About T V Santosh
Hello, I am a PhD-trained Senior Scientist with more than 5 years of experience in biotechnology and pharmaceutical research industries, working across cancer biology, immunology, translational research, and drug discovery programs.
Over the years, I have worked in leading biotech and research organizations on projects involving cancer therapeutics, patient-derived organoids, experimental biology, drug screening platforms, and translational assay development. My experience combines both academic research and real-world industry applications, which helps students understand not only theoretical concepts but also how they are applied in modern biotech and pharmaceutical environments.
I enjoy teaching and mentoring students who are genuinely interested in life sciences, biotechnology, cancer biology, immunology, and research careers. My teaching style is interactive, concept-oriented, and tailored according to each student’s learning goals and background.

My teaching approach is focused on making complex biological concepts easy to understand through practical examples, real industry applications, and interactive discussions rather than only textbook-based learning. I believe students learn better when they understand the scientific reasoning behind experiments, drug discovery strategies, and translational research workflows.
My classes are usually structured based on the student’s background and goals. I first assess the student’s current understanding of the subject, followed by concept explanation using diagrams, pathway discussions, case studies, and recent research examples. I also include discussion of experimental design, interpretation of scientific data, and problem-solving approaches commonly used in biotechnology and pharmaceutical research.
