About Mariam
Hello, my name is Mariam. I am a Registered Nurse with an active multistate nursing license and experience in psychiatric nursing, ICU care, and nursing education. I graduated with my nursing degree in 2021 and am currently furthering my education in the Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) field.
For the past three years, I have had the opportunity to teach approximately 150–300 nursing students with different academic backgrounds, learning styles, and educational needs. I have supported students in a variety of nursing subjects as well as NCLEX-RN preparation, with a very high passing rate among the students I have worked with.
I understand how challenging nursing school and NCLEX preparation can be. My approach is patient, supportive, and focused on building true understanding rather than simply memorizing information. I create a comfortable learning environment where students can ask questions without feeling judged and receive explanations tailored to their individual needs.
I take my responsibility as an educator seriously and genuinely enjoy seeing my students become more confident, improve their critical-thinking skills, and achieve their nursing goals. As a nursing tutor, my goal is to make difficult nursing concepts easier to understand and apply. I focus on understanding rather than memorization and use clinical examples to connect classroom knowledge with real patient care.
Over the past three years, I have taught approximately 150–300 nursing students with different learning needs, academic levels, and career goals. I have helped students across a wide range of nursing subjects, including NCLEX-RN preparation, and my students have achieved a very high passing rate.
A typical lesson begins by identifying the student's strengths and areas that need improvement. I then break down challenging concepts step by step and use practice questions to strengthen critical thinking, clinical judgment, prioritization, and test-taking strategies. I adapt each session to the student's individual learning style and pace.
What sets me apart is my combination of teaching and hands-on clinical experience. As a Registered Nurse with experience in psychiatric nursing and ICU care, I bring real clinical perspectives into my lessons. I focus on helping students understand not only which answer is correct, but why it is correct.
My lessons are designed for nursing students at different levels, whether they need support with specific nursing subjects, exam preparation, NCLEX-RN preparation, or simply want to become more confident in their nursing knowledge and clinical judgment.
