About Kathryn
I recently graduated Summa Cum Laude from Loyola University New Orleans with a degree in Musical Theater and Philosophy. I performed professionally in a choir which sang with Andrea Bocelli and the Louisiana Philharmonic. I also attended Interlochen Center for the Arts as a classical vocalist and performed with the Detroit Symphony Orchestra. I attended the Governor's School for the Arts, and was a 4x participant and 3x soloist in the WV Honors Choir. I have performed in bars, as a cantor in churches, for weddings and funerals, and in multiple recitals and musical theater productions. I've also played piano for over 10 years!

I believe in positive reinforcement with a little tough love sprinkled in. A lesson will typically consist of a warm-up where we try new techniques and develop old ones, so that you can improve your overall vocal agility, breath control, and understanding of basic music theory. We will then move on to repertoire, allowing you to develop foreign-language skills, performance techniques, and confidence in your voice. I am an outgoing, friendly, encouraging teacher with extensive experience in performance. Let's sing!
