About Lauryn
Hi, my name is Lauryn and I’m 21 years of age. Singing has been my passion all of my life. I also have a passion for writing and have just recently released a song on Spotify and Apple Music called ‘Questions’.
I have so much experience when it comes to singing. I have worked in so many cities learning new things with shows like ‘The X Factor’ and ‘The Voice’. I love working with others, I have worked in groups and also as a soloist. I perform at many gigs and festivals too. I have experience in a variety of different genres which include pop, musical theatre, ballads, contemporary, old school house, r&b, jazz and rap. I run lots of vocal exercise classes and teach people on the safest way to sing. I have a wide knowledge of different exercises to suit to your needs. Whether that’s working on projection, breathing, tuning, timing, diaphragm work, harmonies, musicality, or even just to enjoy a singing lesson.
From years of experience, I can confidently say I’ve gained a wealth of knowledge to be able to teach in this industry. I am passionate about this work and enjoy every minute of teaching. I can also massively help with getting into the industry and making new contacts.

The first lesson with a new student will involve a variety of different exercises to get to know the students voice. I will ask if there is anything in particular that the student would like to focus on and go from there. If not, I will give my students new, fun exercises to work on and practice, suited to their voice. I believe whatever is being taught should be fun as I believe that is the best way to learn.
