About Dafydd
About Me I’m a 29-year-old professional tenor and singing teacher based in Wimbledon.
Growing up in Wales surrounded by music. I started competing in Eisteddfod competitions from a young age and have always loved the joy and confidence that singing can bring. I’m passionate about all styles of music, with particular expertise in classical singing and opera.
Alongside my performing career, I’ve taught through local music services, most recently with Merton Music Foundation.
I graduated from the Royal College of Music, London, with Distinction in a Master of Performance and Vocal Studies in 2022. Since then, I’ve worked professionally with companies including Welsh National Opera, Glyndebourne Festival, The Grange Festival and Wexford Festival Opera.
I’ve had the opportunity to study with some wonderful teachers and coaches throughout my career, and I’m passionate about passing on what I’ve learned.
My aim is to give each student the tools and confidence to develop their voice, express themselves and become the performer they want to be — while making the process fun and enjoyable along the way.

I want to make singing fun, enjoyable and rewarding. In our lessons, we’ll work on vocal technique and musical interpretation, while building confidence and helping you feel more comfortable using your voice. Whether you’re looking to improve your vocal quality, range or ease, or simply want to enjoy singing more, I’ll tailor lessons to suit your individual voice and goals.
Alongside singing for pure enjoyments. I often prepare students for auditions, music examinations and public performances.
