About Lio
I am an experienced and passionate Guitar tutor with 7 years of commitment to music education. I teach learners from school level to college and working professionals who want to learn guitar either as a hobby or with serious interest. My teaching philosophy is centred on strong basics and continuous growth.
I begin with essential skills such as finger strength, smooth chord transitions, rhythm accuracy, and scale understanding. Once students build confidence, I introduce advanced playing techniques and performance skills.
Many of my students have participated in stage performances and competitions, earning appreciation for their talent. Watching their transformation from beginners to confident performers has been one of my proudest achievements.
I maintain a disciplined yet friendly classroom atmosphere where students feel comfortable expressing themselves. My aim is to help students develop technical excellence along with creativity and passion.

My Guitar teaching approach focuses on clear communication, patience, and adapting to each student’s individual learning style. I believe that every student has the ability to learn music when guided in the right way. I begin by understanding their goals, whether they want to play for personal enjoyment, academic exams, stage performances, or songwriting.
Based on this, I design a structured yet flexible lesson plan. Some students learn better through visual chord charts and written notes, while others understand more through listening and practical repetition. I adjust my methods accordingly. Along with Guitar playing, I also teach Music Theory, Chord Theory, Scale Practice, Rhythm Development, Ear Training, Improvisation basics, and Song Structure.
I use real-life song analysis to explain how professional musicians use chord progressions and rhythm patterns. Students first develop strong fundamentals like posture, tuning, finger placement, and timing accuracy. As they grow, we move into advanced techniques such as barre chords, fingerstyle patterns, solo techniques, and creative expression. Regular practice planning and feedback sessions ensure steady improvement and confidence building.
