About Honor

I studied languages at the university of Nottingham and then I went on to do an MA in Latin American studies at UCL. I have worked with children in many different contexts and have a lot of experience in education!

About the lesson

I try to make my lessons unique to each student as it’s important to maintain engagement. I include grammar, speaking, listening and writing in my lessons, but I always adapt to my student’s needs

When my eldest son Gideon was struggling with his listening skills prior to his GCSE Portuguese exam, Honor was an absolute lifesaver.

Honor knew which skills were most essential and focused on these. Her style is patient, reassuring and knowledgeable- and she's excellent at explaining the grammar.

Not only did Gideon receive an excellent grade (An A! Proud mummy over here!!), his confidence and passion for the language was boosted so much so that he has gone on to study at A Level.

I couldn't have asked for more from a tutor. I would recommend Honor's tutoring to anyone!
