About Emily
I have a deep passion for languages and literature, especially Spanish and English. I also have a great interest in history, culture, art and social studies. I am confident I am able to foster good studying skills and confidence within my students. I hope to have the opportunity to help you learn!
I have a C2 level of proficiency in Spanish with seven years or more of experience living abroad in Quito, Ecuador. I have a Bachelor's degree in Spanish Language and Literature from Michigan State University.
While studying Spanish in high school and in college I was awarded several honors in regards to my Spanish language studies and abilities. As well, I graduated from MSU with honors, a 3.7 GPA and an Outstanding Student in Spanish Award.
If you would like to learn from someone who has had the chance to see and live in another part of the world, I would love to be your tutor. I will make sure my time tutoring will provide students with applicable advice and knowledge in their studies now and in the future (whether in the U.S. or in another country).
