About Hannah
I graduated with both a Chemistry and Spanish major from Clemson University. I lived 6 months in Argentina during university where I really learned to functionally use Spanish. After graduation, I moved to Spain for a year to continue my language learning and also taught in a high school. I love watching Spanish films and listening to Spanish music (Morat is a personal favorite :)). I think the Spanish language (as with all languages) offers a unique window into the Hispanic and Latin culture which is one I have grown to love.

From my own language learning experience, the best way to learn is to practice speaking as much as possible! I've had classroom experience teaching using real-life scenarios to help you learn how to use a language functionally (i.e. how to order at a restaurant, how to ask for food at a grocery store, etc.). I like to tailor vocabulary into certain topics or scenarios as well to encourage association of meanings to those real-world scenarios. More importantly, I like to hear from my students/tutees what works best for them and regularly seek feedback on what's working well and what isn't. I have experience tutoring all the way from 1st grade up to college students.
