About Delia

I am an English literature and linguistics student who has been tutoring for more than 5 years now. I started teaching mainly English from young children to adults, focusing on homework, grammar but above all speaking skills. In 2018, I started teaching Spanish and it’s been one of the greatest experiences. I feel that my students are more motivated to keep learning because they find it fun and interesting.

About the lesson

In each lesson, I like focusing on different skills instead of just one. This way, I claim lessons are more dynamic and less boring for the student. Besides, I make use of materials such as news articles, YouTube videos, series or film clips. I try to keep the use of the language “real” by, as I said, using updated materials. I also find it very important to keep the lesson very much student-centred as there might be a student wanting to focus on speaking as another one might prefer writing.

I found Delia at superprof 1 year ago because I didn´t know anything about english (i'm from Spain)
and I needed to improve quickly my english to pass a test (When I say that I didn´t know anything
about english, that means NOTHING AT ALL). Well, Delia was a blessing for me. A really good, kind,
friendly and cheerful girl. In 6 month I could have an easily english conversation with other people.
All of this with entertained classes. Now, I can watch series and read, speak and write in english.

Well, I think Delia is a trustworthy tutor not only because the way she behaves with children and teenagers, as she is absolutely passionate about teaching all her knowledge in different areas; but also how joyful can be having lessons with her, due to the fact that she makes lessons easy to understand, practical and entertaining. So, without any doubt, I think Delia is the best person you can choose.
