About Gretchen
Since August 1996 I have delivered Spanish instruction to public school students and as a distance learning professional. Students have engaged in opportunities to give weather reports, do pantomimes, sell articles in a staged outdoor market, create board games, sing songs, and pass through "customs".

I use elements of "brain based instruction" such as offering limited choice, allowing for transition time from one activity to another, and celebrating accomplishments. I involve multiple intelligences such as spatial intelligence, kinesthetic intelligence, and interpersonal intelligence in orchestrating learning activities. I incorporate art and music when possible.
