About Sorrel
I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Spanish Language and Literature and have 7 years of experience teaching Spanish to students from different backgrounds. My interest in languages started early and grew into a strong passion for helping others communicate effectively. I believe that learning a language should be practical, clear, and enjoyable. My teaching style focuses on patience, clarity, and building confidence step by step.
I customize my lessons based on each student’s needs and pace of learning. Beginners receive structured guidance to build a strong foundation, while intermediate learners are supported in improving fluency and understanding. Advanced students focus on refining communication and gaining confidence in real-life conversations. I create a positive learning environment where students feel comfortable practicing and improving regularly.
Outside of teaching, I enjoy exploring Spanish culture, music, and literature, which helps me bring real-world context into lessons. This makes learning more meaningful and engaging for students. Helping learners feel confident in using Spanish and seeing their progress is one of the most fulfilling parts of my teaching journey.

My Spanish lessons are designed to help students build a clear understanding of the language while also developing confidence in speaking and listening. Lessons are tailored to match each student’s level and learning goals. Beginners start with basic vocabulary, simple sentences, and pronunciation practice to build confidence. Intermediate learners work on improving grammar accuracy, expanding vocabulary, and developing better conversation skills. Advanced students focus on fluency, complex sentence structures, and deeper understanding of cultural context. Each lesson includes structured exercises, real-life examples, and feedback to ensure steady progress and clear understanding.
The goal of my Spanish lessons is to help students communicate naturally and confidently in different situations. They learn how to express their thoughts clearly, understand spoken language better, and connect with the culture behind the language.
