About Ruby
I have over 6 years of experience as a Spanish tutor, helping students build confidence in professional communication. I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish with a concentration in Cultural Anthropology, which shapes my culturally informed teaching approach. My focus is on Spanish for customer service and hospitality environments.
Students learn how to interact with guests, respond to inquiries, and manage reservations effectively. We also practice handling common service situations with professionalism and clarity. Real-life application is central to every lesson.
I use role-playing exercises to recreate service calls and guest interactions. These simulations help you gain confidence and fluency. Scenario-based problem-solving strengthens your ability to respond in dynamic situations.

My teaching method is relaxed, simple, and conversation-driven. I use real-life online shopping situations to teach Spanish. Students learn how to navigate websites and understand product information. This makes lessons practical and engaging.
We practice customer service conversations in Spanish. Students learn how to ask for help and respond clearly. I also teach how to manage orders, returns, and shipping questions. These are common real-world situations.
Role-playing is a key learning tool in my lessons. We simulate online chats and support calls. I also introduce essential e-commerce vocabulary. Everything is taught step by step for easy understanding.
I work well with newcomers and conversational learners. My goal is to make Spanish simple for digital use. I help students feel confident in online communication.
