Having grown up speaking strictly English, I did not learn Spanish until my English skills were more developed, meaning that I have experience in learning Spanish through the lens of an English speaker. This allows me to better understand the difficulties faced by other students when learning the language and gives me the ability to present the students with mental tips and tricks that will aid them in understanding what they are learning.
