My approach to tutoring is grounded in science, evidence and rapport building. I believe that a safe, secure environment sets the foundation for identifying customized motivational tools and being able to learn freely (i.e, it is ok to make mistakes- and learn from them)! Nothing grows in the comfort zone, but you do need to be comfortable asking questions and taking risks! Together, I work with both the individual I am tutoring and their loved ones to collaboratively make a plan that targets both short-term and long-term goals.
