About Alistair
I am a current high school student who has just achieved AAAAAB at SQA National 5 this year, and is currently studying Higher qualifications. I have a particular affinity for Music and Modern Studies, and as such achieved A's at N5 for both of these subjects, haven taken them throughout my school career.
For National 4 and BGE (S1-S3) I can assist with all elements of the course. For National 5, I can assist and tutor with music theory, including understanding and revision of musical terms and techniques and assisting in basic music reading and notation as would be required in the exam. I can also provide assistance and tutoring with practical elements of the course, specifically in Piano, Keyboard, Acoustic and Electric Guitar, although I am not a specifically instrumental tutor.

Firstly I will sit and chat with the student to get a good idea of what parts of the course you're comfortable with, and which parts you'd like to work more on. From there I can create a plan for the duration of the tutoring to best support you. I prefer to allow you, the student, to lead your learning and try things, making mistakes is natural and I feel it's better to make the mistakes in order to learn from them and see where they came from.
