About Alison
My main instrument is the cello, and I am a member of the Manawatu Sinfonia, the piano trio - Trio Buropa and Scottish group Ceol Manawatu. I am a member of the IRMTNZ and I am on the committee for the local branch. I really enjoy discovering what inspires each individual student and I encourage performance opportunities for all, either as a soloist or in chamber music groups.

I have been teaching in the Manawatu for several years. I teach violin, viola and double bass to intermediate level and cello to advanced level. I accept learners of any age. Lessons are at my studio or your home or online. They typically last for half an hour but can be longer by arrangement.
