About Viktoria
Hi! I'm Viki, a 24-year-old First-Class Biomedical Science graduate who has just secured a place at vet school — and honestly, my journey to get here was anything but straightforward.
My dream has always been to become a vet. But A-levels were really tough for me. I didn't get the grades I wanted despite trying everything — extra lessons after school, teaching myself at home, going over things again and again. Some topics just seemed almost impossible to understand, despite trying my absolute hardest. Then Covid hit during my second year and made everything even harder. At one point I nearly gave up on the dream entirely. I ended up having to do a foundation year before university, which at the time felt like just another sign that maybe it wasn't meant to be.
But I kept going — and despite my struggles with school and chemistry especially, despite my A level grades and foundation year, I finished my Biomedical Science degree with First Class Honours. And this September, I finally start vet school.
I'm telling you this because I want you to know that I'm not someone who found it all easy and then decided to teach. I know what it feels like to try your hardest and still feel like you're not getting there. I know how demoralising that is. And I know that with the right support and the right approach, things can turn around completely — because they did for me. And I am proof that they can for you too. So don't give up, ever!
That's exactly why I tutor. I'm not here to be another authority figure — think of me as a knowledgeable friend who's been in your shoes and genuinely wants to help you find your way through. No judgement, no impatience, just someone fully in your corner.

My approach is simple: I start by getting to know *you*! Before we dive into any content, I'll ask you about how you learn best, what's worked for you in the past and what hasn't, and what you find frustrating about the way subjects are taught at school.
I also use a short learning style assessment so I can tailor every session specifically to how your brain works — whether that's visual explanations, working through problems together, real-world analogies, or something else entirely. Psychology can be very useful for learning how to learn properly!
I know from personal experience how demoralising it feels when you just can't grasp something no matter how many times it's explained or however hard you try. That's why I'm committed to trying every angle until something clicks — and I won't stop until it does. But it's about teamwork, we'll work together to find the best ways to help you!
Sessions are very flexible, from 30 minutes to 2 hours depending on what you need that day, it's up to you!
I'm open to teaching students of any age and level, from GCSE through to undergraduate, in biology, chemistry, and all that falls under biomedical sciences! I can even teach Psychology up to A level standard.
