• When did you develop an interest in your chosen field and in private tutoring?

  I developed an interest in accounting early in my studies because I found it practical and meaningful—it tells the story behind a business. During my CA journey, I started helping friends and juniors, and that’s when I realized I truly enjoy teaching. Seeing students understand concepts and gain confidence motivated me to pursue private tutoring.

• Tell us more about the subject you teach, the topics you like to discuss with students (and possibly those you like a little less).

  I teach Financial Accounting, focusing on building strong concepts rather than rote learning. I enjoy topics like financial statements and adjustments because they connect theory with real-life situations. I aim to make even the more technical topics simple and easy to understand.

• Did you have any role models; a teacher that inspired you?

  I’ve had teachers who explained complex topics in a very simple way, which really inspired me. I try to follow the same approach in my teaching.

• What do you think are the qualities required to be a good tutor?

  I believe patience, clear communication, and adaptability are key qualities of a good tutor. It’s important to make students feel comfortable so they can ask questions and learn effectively.

• Provide a valuable anecdote related to your subject or your days at school.

  I once taught a student who struggled with basic accounting and had lost confidence. By focusing on fundamentals step by step, the student improved significantly and started solving questions independently. That experience was very rewarding.

• What were the difficulties or challenges you faced or still facing in your subject?

  During my CA studies, managing the volume and complexity of accounting topics was challenging. However, it helped me develop effective study techniques that I now share with my students.

• Do you have a particular passion? Is it teaching in general or an element of the subject or something completely different?

  I am passionate about teaching and simplifying accounting concepts. I also enjoy learning how accounting applies in real-world business scenarios.

  What makes me a Superprof is my focus on clarity and understanding. I ensure students are comfortable with concepts before moving forward. As a CA Finalist, I guide students with both theoretical knowledge and practical insight.
