About Duong
Hello! I was born and raised in Vietnam, and I'm currently living in Melbourne, Australia. I have over 10 years of teaching experience and have been teaching languages online for the past 5 years, including one year with AMES Australia. I have a deep love for the Vietnamese language and a strong desire to share its beauty—especially with young Vietnamese people who were born and raised abroad, just like what I wish for my own children in the future. With my passion for languages and solid teaching background, I believe I can be a great companion on your journey to explore the Vietnamese language and culture in a fun, meaningful, and effective way.

I focus on creating a comfortable and supportive learning environment where students feel confident using Vietnamese from day one. My teaching style is natural, interactive, and tailored to each student’s level, interests, and goals. I use real-life situations, visual aids, and repetition to help you remember and apply what you learn.
Each lesson is typically 50–60 minutes long and includes speaking, listening, vocabulary, and grammar practice — all in a relaxed and enjoyable way.
I have over 10 years of experience in language teaching, including 5 years of online English instruction and one year teaching at AMES Australia, supporting adult migrants. Now, I specialize in teaching Vietnamese to beginners, heritage learners, and Vietnamese speakers living abroad.
My lessons are suitable for teens and adults of all levels, especially those starting from scratch or looking to reconnect with the Vietnamese language and culture.
