About Thandokuhle
I’ve always been passionate about helping others, and teaching gives me the opportunity to make a real difference in children’s lives. I’m especially drawn to the Foundation Phase because it’s such a crucial time in a child’s development. I believe that learning in one’s home language builds confidence and helps learners connect more deeply with what they’re being taught. I love seeing the excitement in a child’s eyes when they understand something new—it’s incredibly rewarding. Teaching also allows me to be creative, to keep learning, and to contribute positively to my community by nurturing future leaders.

Teaching Foundation Phase their home language improves cognitive development, language use, and communication development, making it easy for them to use the second language.
