About Amy
I am a student at the University of Birmingham, studying History with Year Abroad. I have always had a passion for history, as well as English, which has influenced the choices I have made for my future prospects. Having tutored a couple of year 9&10 students for their mock exams, and receiving news that they were successful in said exams, I am filled with confidence when tutoring, which in turn, my students will also feel.

The typical lesson length would be an hour, in which we would break down the topic being taught into sub-topics in order to fully understand. We would go through key facts, figures, explanations, and importantly, essay style questions, which we would then have practice of a run through the mark scheme, together. The lessons would be for years 7-11 and A-Level students. I have previously tutored a couple of students in year 9&10 for GCSE History.
