About Julius
Studying Biology at Imperial has provided me with an in-depth understanding of some of the main concepts that I studied at A-Level and iGCSEs. With this knowledge I will be able to answer any questions you will have and be able to make sure that you know and understand the topics well enough to get you the grade you want! I used to find studying Biology and Chemistry quite boring and tedious at times but I adapted new ways to learn the topics and that helped me love and appreciate it more– and I would love to show you how to make learning the material less monotonous, more exciting and time efficient. With the current knowledge I have I can show you how these awesome concepts and ideas are used and applied in real life. I come with excellent exam techniques that will help you understand and know what the question wants from you – so you could secure the full marks you deserve. I will always have the extra time to walk you through each question and concepts that you just can’t wrap your head around and I have tons of diagrams and mind maps to help you remember the in-depth information you have to learn. Having been a Peer Listener at my previous school, I have demonstrated strong listening and interpersonal skills that will be able to help me help you as my tutee to make sure you are well and mentally prepared for the exam. I will ensure that the pressure of studying does not affect your performance especially during the exam season. I really enjoyed Julius helping me out with my current modules in Biology at Imperial, his sense of humour and great communication skills helped me feel more confident and less pressured when revising and sitting my exam. His ability to break down the bulk of the material into simple flowcharts and diagrams really helped me understand and remember the topics I had to learn for my 1st semester Exams.
I think he’d be an excellent tutor.Julius is a very positive and helpful friend. He was very helpful in teaching me our iGCSE Biology and Chemistry topics during our time at school. He was an excellent communicator and was able to help me understand the material we went through in lesson and also made the experience quite enjoyable.
