About Daniel
I play in a number of ensembles and bands both in and out of university curriculum, also playing solo piano for The Majestic Hotel by Hilton in Harrogate. I aim to educate with the least amount of confusion and provide justifiable shortcuts for understanding easier and more difficult concepts, with an emphasis on using your ear and internalising music.

My method of teaching is based on how I taught myself: Noticing patterns and shapes, practically applying them into repertoire and creating a memorable and enjoyable system for playing. I teach students both in-person and online. Referenced external material will be provided. Lesson Length: 30 minutes - 1 hour Levels Taught: Beginners to Advanced

Perfect! Lovely chap, quick to communicate with. Lesson style, I had lessons as a child and didn't like to formulaic way of learning scales. Dan has since explained it (theory, chords, majors, etc) in such a way that I finally understand when I never understood it before! Definitely continuing on.
