About Ashvin
My name is Ashvin, and I am a dedicated Tamil tutor with a strong academic background in the language. I hold an O-Level Distinction in Higher Tamil, as well as distinctions in Express Tamil and Tamil Literature.
With a solid foundation across different aspects of the Tamil language, I am able to support students in reading, writing, grammar, comprehension, and literary understanding. I am passionate about helping students develop confidence in Tamil and guiding them to achieve their academic goals through clear explanations, structured lessons, and personalized support.

Online Tamil tuition lessons are conducted live via Zoom and are carefully planned to meet each child’s individual learning needs. Lessons are structured, engaging, and supportive, helping students build confidence and develop strong Tamil language skills at their own pace.
Before lessons begin, an initial assessment is carried out to understand the child’s current level, strengths, and areas for improvement. Based on this, customised lesson plans and learning resources are created to suit the child’s ability, school syllabus, and learning goals (such as reading, writing, speaking, grammar, or exam preparation).
During each lesson, students receive:
Clear explanations of concepts
Guided practice and interactive activities
Personalised worksheets and learning materials
Continuous encouragement and individual attention
Progress is monitored regularly, and lessons are adjusted as needed to ensure steady improvement. Homework or revision tasks may be provided to reinforce learning outside lesson time.
Using Zoom allows for effective online teaching through screen sharing, live explanations, and real-time interaction. Parents can be assured that lessons are conducted in a safe, focused, and positive online learning environment.
