About Mae
I’m a dedicated chess coach with more than 9 years of experience working with students of different levels. Chess is a wonderful training ground for logical thinking and creative strategy. Over the years, I have organized workshops and coached players preparing for competitions.
My lessons focus on careful position analysis and strategic planning. Students learn how to evaluate positions and build effective plans.
Critical thinking and logical deduction guide every move. Understanding ideas is more important than memorizing lines.

My chess teaching approach focuses on building strong fundamentals and strategic thinking. I guide learners through essential concepts like piece activity, center control, and effective development. Students also learn important tactical patterns such as forks, pins, skewers, and discovered attacks.
Visualization practice and calculation drills improve focus and accuracy. Learners develop the skill to evaluate positions and detect threats early. Time management strategies help players remain calm and efficient during games. Lessons include puzzles, mini-games, and simple game reviews.
