About Samantha
Hiya, I'm Samantha! I am a Primary Education undergraduate student who wants to help students build confidence and achieve good grades. In 2024, I achieved a grade 8 in AQA GCSE Religious Studies, and I have recently completed my A Level in Religious Studies! As I am studying to become a primary school teacher, my university degree focuses on pedagogy, lesson planning, and adapting content to suit different learning styles. I can combine this with an in-depth knowledge of the AQA mark scheme in order to ensure the most beneficial lessons for you/your child.

Hiya, I'm Samantha! I am a Primary Education undergraduate student who wants to help students build confidence and achieve good grades. In 2024, I achieved a grade 8 in AQA GCSE Religious Studies, and I have recently completed my A Level in Religious Studies!
In our first 30 minute lesson, we will have a short conversation about your strengths and weaknesses, then you will complete a few short tasks so I can customise lessons to support you also!
For 1h lessons, we will spend the first 10 minutes going over goals for this lesson and also going over any independent revision tasks* sent.
For the next 20 minutes, we will go over content that students need support with. Then for the 20 minutes after, we will focus on answering exam questions relevant to the content we just covered. For the final 10 minutes, we will reflect on the lesson with what went well and what can be improved next lesson and with independent study.
*I can set independent study tasks for students if they are struggling with ideas for what to do and will mark it before our next lesson. I do not set homework unless explicitly asked as I understand the volume of homework set in year 10 and 11.
