About Albert
I am a UC Santa Barbara graduate with 12 years of experience in playing guitar that has been taught by many teachers and professors. I also have played a role in a Jazz band for high school as well as lead guitar for a professional band. I also have experience in an analog recording studio based in Ventura.

I have been playing and studying the guitar for 12 years with multiple musical fellowships and mentorships throughout my musical career. In addition to playing lead guitar in numerous professional bands, I am also skilled in live performances, studio guitar engineering(tracking, producing, mixing), live performance, and troubleshooting/modifying guitars/amps.
Every student has a different way of learning so I will tailor and put together material at a comfortable speed for each student.
Several things I will cover include:
- Basic chords
- Basic notes
- Guitar covers(student can pick any song to learn)
- Playing guitar with a backing track
- Reading music
- Music theory
- Scales
- Advance theory
- Songwriting
- Recording
- Live performance
No gear is required, I have extra guitars and amps that students may borrow if they need one.
The first meeting will be free and done virtually to discuss expectations/get to know each other and then further
lessons can be in person(must be fully vaccinated) or remote.
Most importantly, although music is sometimes frustrating, music should be fun and enjoyable for everyone!
